THE STORY OF HOW WE MET

One day, there is a seminar for basic life support in our NSTP in E- hall, I saw her with a kind and blooming face. I was speechless and I don’t know what to say to her. Even though I was very near at her. I was amazed of her unique face and personality, she was a simple girl and funny. My classmate Marvin saw me that I was looking for that girl, he told me, that girl I was looking for is his classmate in high school, so I am thankful for the coincidence. I ask him the name of the girl and her likes. Her name is Sharish Realizan, and her favorite subject is Math, the same with me, that was the first time I saw her. I don’t even think that she is my date on our project in Soc. Sci I. I was shock and felt nervous when I saw her in front of me, that was an awkward moment for us. But I felt happy and thankful that she is my date. It was my first date, my experience was wonderful because of her. I overcome my fear on having a date because of her. She told me to be calm and enjoy the moment when we where dancing. She is cute, simple and humble, that is what I like on girls. I don’t have crush on her but I admire her because of her simplicity and nice. I like what she do and what she likes. I ask her if she like sports or she plays any sports, she answers me “ a little bit”, if she play volleyball, I think I had crush on her.

WHERE WE MET?

In our date we met in room 117 at the campus of CBEM because it is our project in etiquette, we must bring a token gift and a food for our date. At first we met in E- hall room on our seminar in NSTP about basic life support, this was the day I met her at first time.

HER FIRST IMPRESSION

For me, I observe in our date her movements and behavior, she was nice and beautiful, a little bit talkative and had many questions to ask in me. Her first impression to me in our date, she was shock and curious about me but when the time goes by she observe that I am also talkative about sports or anything. She said that I was silent but the truth is I was naughty and talkative. I don’t think that she likes my attitude and behavior but I am sure that she enjoys our date.

HOW ARE FIRST MEETING ENDED?

Our first meeting was in E-hall but we didn’t talk each other, we ended the day as normal and ordinary day. I don’t know her name yet but I familiarize her face because of our Dating project in Etiquette. At this time we talk each other about ourselves, what we likes, what we want to do after graduation, what is our hobbies, what is our favorite subject, where we live and other matters about personal information. We ended our date by asking her to dance with sweet music in other term couple dance and we take a group picture of other dates. That was an extraordinary experience for me.

HOW IT WAS INITIATED?

The assigned group will decorate or organize the dating area for the couple to be comfortable with their dates. There was a beautiful arrangement of the area, a music was played and the area was clean. The boys were had their blindfolds before starting the dates, before removing the blindfolds of the boys, the girls was beside their dates, so the boys were shock and amazed of their dates. There was an

exchange of token gifts, eating foods and playing cards during the dating time. We take picture each in every time we had an activity like dancing, eating and playing cards. Yes, we play cards the loser will have a dare or consequences and the winner will give the consequences to the loser. The preparation of our dates was amazing and unpredictable.

WHERE WE MET AND WHAT WE DID?

We met at the room 117 of CBEM campus, it was a blind date, we don’t know who is our date, I felt nervous because of it, but I overcome that nervous because I saw her after I remove my blindfold. I saw her simple, nice, calm and beautiful. We had exchange our token gifts and we eat cupcakes and cookies, we play cards and we had consequences to the loser. We had also a couple dance with our dates, we take picture of our dates, that was the last we do before we ended the dates. We did great and the experiences was unexplainable, I felt happy and contented with that activity. I don’t know what to say to her but, I told her “ thank you so much for this opportunity and I am glad that you are my date”.

WHEN IT WAS?

That was Thursday, February 12, 2015 at exactly 4:30 pm started. An exciting day, but I was nervous because I don’t know what to do and I don’t know who is my date at that day. I enjoy the day because of what happen in our date, that was my first date and first experience to had a date which I don’t know the girl I dating for, but I enjoy it and I am thankful to had that date with her.

HOW IT WENT?

It is our project for Etiquette, a dating project to find someone or to invite to have a date. It was exciting and I am curious about it. I don’t have any experience yet before that date, because I don’t have any girlfriend since birth.

AWKWARD MOMENTS :

- When we eat cupcakes

- When I ask her if she have a boyfriend

- When I ask her to dance

- When I give my token gift to her

- When she ask me about my personal information

FUNNY MOMENTS :

- When we had played the cards

- When we take pictures before ending the date

- When my date ask me to sing a love song and she didn’t want because she is shy

- When we talk about jokes

- When we tried to speak English during the date, because we are not professionals yet in speaking English

GOOD MEMORIES FROM THE FIRST DATE

When we dance at the center of the room and the music was all of me. we talk about anything while dancing. This part of my date I always remembered because it was extraordinary experience for me. When I give my token gift to her and she said to me that she likes it. I saw in her face that she is happy and contented in my gift. I felt happy too, when I saw her appreciating my token gift. I remembered when she sing the song forevermore and other love song for me. That was the first time that a girl dedicated a song for me. I love the song that she sings to me, I felt nervous after she sungs because I think she wants me to sing too, I don’t know how to sing and I don’t have any talent in singing. The last good memories that I remembered is when she gave me a wallet as a token gift, I don’t expect that will happen. I am very thankful that she is my date.

Movie Date

My Bestfriend told me you can never run out of reason to be happy on your birthday no matter whathappens. We met before my birthday. My birthday is the time for everything to fall into place and when I saw her I knew everything was right in to place. Forme she was beautiful sweet and easy to be with I felt like myself around her and I knew she felt the same way when around me. We became really good friendsafter all there's nothing bad to tell the truth, Right? She said yes. I always thought of her that she was unreachable but at that moment I felt so close toher. We went out on our first date it was just six months ago and I still remember what she was wearing and I can still smell her perfume. We wentwatched movies we laughed and then after we went to her favorite restaurant which was countis.

After we ate we walked around then she dragged me in a photo booth then I asked her “Why did youwant to go in a photobooth?” She replied “Because I want to keep this memory”and at that moment I realized that she maybe the one for me. After that I droveher home. I never felt so happy knowing that someone like her could like meback. An hour before I slept that day I received a text message from her sayingthat I gave her the best day.

Then she did'nt sent any text messages for days. Then 5 days after our date I was shocked and I almost collasped because I sawher holding hands with another man. I thought that I can never feel so low. Wasit so hard for her to tell me that she has someone else? What was I supposed todo? Months have passed and I still care for her but I'm over her a little. It'staking me some time to clean up. I feel silly sometimes when I think that maybeshe change her mind. I still see her in a different line. After everything Istill think that I should live happy. Men's Shoes:

1. Casual Shoes
Boat Shoes or Top Siders – Made to be worn on a boat to prevent slipping, they have migrated from the docks of Boston to the wardrobes of men looking for a summer shoe that can be worn without socks. Available in a variety of colors, the men’s boat shoe comes in a moccasin style and is only for warm weather.

Saddle Shoes – A casual oxford shoe, the saddle shoe is distinctive because it utilizes a layer of leather over the instep that is normally a different color than the rest of the shoe, thus classifying it as a casual but stylish choice.

Leather Loafer – separate from the slip-on leather dress loafers above, these slip-on loafers are built with heavier rubber soles and more casual uppers to include leather imitations.  Their styles are wide and range, but the purpose of their construction is to fill the void between canvas shoes and dress shoes while maximizing comfort at a value price.  I

Sandals – One of man’s earliest forms of footwear, sandals continue to serve as a solid choice for protecting the bottom of our feet while allowing maximum air circulation to the upper portion.

Clogs, Flip Flops, and Crocs –

3. Work Shoes

4. Boots

Hiking Boots – Hiking boots are designed to support the ankles, provide cushion, and protect from the elements, while still being light enough to not impede stamina.  Boots that meet all this criteria are an outdoorsman’s delight; those that fail can turn a trip into a painful lesson of why quality matters.

Western Boots – Growing up in West Texas, I have a special place in my heart for western boots. Functionally, they serve the purpose of keeping a man in his saddle, protecting him from the terrain, and if taken care of, they can last as long as his horse.  But that’s the issue–most of us don’t require this functionality and wrestle with the issue of whether or not we deserve to wear something so idealized by our culture.

Work Boots – There’s a cobbler I use in Green Bay whose shelves are lined with two types of footwear. High end dress shoes that need to be conditioned and shined, and work boots that have gone through a beating and need new soles.  Like a pick-up truck that works hard and simply needs an oil change and new tires, quality work boots last forever and help you get the job done. Any man that works 14 hour days in construction learns at an early age that spending a bit more for quality boots is an investment in how his body will feel that weekend.  And as mentioned before, solidly built work boots can be re-soled, while cheap boots that are made with glue and inferior materials not only fail under heavy usage but cannot be fixed as they were designed to be disposable.

KILTIE

Slip-ons are not oxfords as they do not use laces; by design they are less formal although if conservatively styled they can and have been worn with suits. However, they are generally more at home with grey flannel trousers and a sport jacket.   Moccasins, monk straps, and tassel loafers are just a few of the more popular options available.  Many of the styles you’ll find in the slip-on category could have been classified below as casual footwear; this just highlights the fact that there are very few hard lines when dividing items like this.  I personally love slip-ons, as they make travel so much easier when you have to go through 6 metal detectors over a 24 hour period

 COMMON FOOTWEAR TERMINOLOGIES

1.    Sole – This is commonly referred to as the bottom part of the shoe or boot and can be further divided into the outer sole, mid-sole, and insole depending on the type and quality of the shoe being discussed.

2.    Upper – A general term that refers to the part of the shoe above the sole.
3.    Brogueing – a form of ornamentation in which tiny holes are carved into the shoe’s leather.  An important point to remember is that the more decoration on a shoe the less formal it becomes.
4.    Open Lacing – One of the two lacing systems used in oxford shoes, the open lacing system delineates the shoe in question to be a blucher. The shoe’s tongue and vamp (parts of the upper that cover the top of the foot) are cut in one piece with an open throat.
5.    Insole – As mentioned above, a subsection of the general term sole, the inner sole is the layer of the sole upon which the foot rests.  A quality insole can mean the difference between a shoe that will last 5 years and one that will last 25.
6.    Heel – The back portion of the shoe that comes into direct contact with the ground and gives elevation to the foot when the shoe is worn.  Heels are often built from 2 to 4 pieces of leather called lifts and reinforced with rubber or metal.
7.    Laces – The choice is usually round or ribbon, with round having the advantage of being stronger  and more formal thanks to their core while ribbon laces come in a variety of colors and are more elastic and are thus a good choice for athletic shoes or hiking boots
