“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.”
–Colin Powell

The entrepreneur/founder of Gremar’s Sportswear is Mr. Gregorio Marceras Sr. (deceased). The ownership of the business has been passed to Mrs. Julieta Marceras Calantog and her other 2 siblings who opened different branch here in Albay. Their business is tailoring specifically sportswear and it had operated since 1952.

Mr. Gregorio Marceras Sr. started as a policeman and after a threat on his life; he resigned from being a police and started being a sewer. Aside from being a police the entrepreneur loves to sew. The founder did not follow any process in developing the business. He just used his experiences and ideas with the help of his wife in starting a new business. He save money from his salary and used it to start the business.

The biggest issue that the entrepreneur has faced at different stages of the venture was the client won’t pay whenever there is a delay. The only thing that the entrepreneur does is to accept the issue because they are the one responsible for the cause of delay. The major organizational goal that the owner wants for the next several years is to give benefits to its employees because of the fact that their business is a seasonal business.

“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.” – Sam Walton
